When donating via <a href=\"https:\/\/giftshop.wwfry.org\/product\/donate\/153\">Square<\/a>, or sending a check, you may specify one of these funds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alan Carroll Memorial Special Projects Fund<br \/>\n<em>This includes <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.wwfry.org\/index.php\/topic,4206.0.html\">diesel locomotive #53<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/build11.wwfry.org\">Build Locomotive #11<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forum.wwfry.org\/index.php\/topic,2944.0.html\">Build Coach #9<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/forum.wwfry.org\/index.php\/topic,898.0.html\">The Mountain Extension to Trout Brook Preserve (at Route 218)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sheepscot Station Campus Improvements<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/forum.wwfry.org\/index.php\/topic,2993.0.html\">3-Stall Engine House (in the style of the Wiscasset engine house)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/forum.wwfry.org\/index.php\/topic,3497.0.html\">Car Barn Exhibit Hall (hosting the Narrow Gauge Collection)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/forum.wwfry.org\/index.php\/topic,3462.msg41847.html\">Pavilion and Improvements at Alna Center<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Pay-down of Mortgages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Donations that are not earmarked will be deposited into the museum&#8217;s general fund and spent at the discretion of the Board of Directors.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Support a Campaign<\/h3>\n<p>Beyond our regular fundraising to our <a href=\"https:\/\/wwfry.org\/?page_id=153\">members<\/a>, we sometimes encourage our friends and followers to contribute to major efforts that may be of interest to the wider preservation community. This includes our current initiative to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/build11.wwfry.org\">Build Locomotive #11<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Give Money when Shopping at Amazon<\/h3>\n<p>Did you know that Amazon donates millions of dollars to charity each year? Best of all, those charities are determined by their customers! All you have to do is visit <a href=\"http:\/\/smile.amazon.com\/ch\/01-0448408\"><strong>smile.amazon.com<\/strong><\/a> when you shop online;\u00a0 there you pick YOUR charity to support (such as the WW&amp;F) and Amazon donates a percentage of each purchase made back to the WW&amp;F.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t cost any extra, and it&#8217;s a simple way to help the causes you love. Just be sure to always start at <a href=\"http:\/\/smile.amazon.com\/ch\/01-0448408\">smile.amazon.com<\/a> (and not the regular web site) so that your purchase is credited correctly. (And yes, it also applies to those with Amazon Prime memberships.)<\/p>\n<h3>Give Money when Shopping ANYWHERE Online!<\/h3>\n<p>Virtually ALL e-commerce sites (including travel sites, large retailers, coupon purveyors, and smaller shops) will make donations to the charity of your choice, <em><strong>IF<\/strong><\/em> you use a \u201cshopping portal.\u201d These websites share the commission they receive on your purchase back with the WW&amp;F.<\/p>\n<p>All you have to do is start your shopping at one of the following shopping portals:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.igive.com\/html\/allcauses.cfm?causeid=52399\"><strong>iGIVE<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodshop.com\/nonprofit\/wiscasset-waterville-and-farmington-railway-museum.aspx\"><strong>GOODSHOP<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/givingassistant.org\/np#wiscasset-waterville-farmington-railway-museum\"><strong>GIVINGASSISTANT<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Online shoppers can find deals and coupons for thousands of the most popular stores on CouponCause. When these deals are used, CouponCause donates a portion of that revenue to their partnering charities. When you save, they donate!<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/couponcause.com\/\">COUPONCAUSE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Buy Stuff we need on Amazon<\/h3>\n<p>Amazon maintains a &#8220;Wish List&#8221; for charities (like a gift registry). Ours contains mostly day-to-day needs, but there are a few special projects that need materials. You pick what you want to donate, and Amazon ships it directly to us! See what we need at:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wwfry.org\/wishlist\">www.wwfry.org\/wishlist<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Donate Your Car!<\/h3>\n<p>We&#8217;ve partnered with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/careasy.org\/nonprofit\/WWFRailway\">CARS<\/a><\/strong> to accept vehicle donations. Why send your junker off to that outfit with the annoying jingle when you can use it instead to rebuild Maine history.<\/p>\n<h3>Sell Stuff on eBay<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/charity.ebay.com\/help\/seller\"><strong>https:\/\/charity.ebay.com\/help\/seller<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThe WW&amp;F is registered as a non-profit on eBay, and can receive donations from listings. The seller just has to select the WW&amp;F as the non-profit of their choice, and they can donate 10 to 100% of the sale to the museum. So anyone that has plans to sell anything on eBay, please consider selecting the museum as the Organization you would like to give to.<\/p>\n<h3>Recycle your Electronics<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/greentec.com\/fundraising\/\"><strong>https:\/\/greentec.com\/fundraising\/<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nWe are set up with Think Recycle to get credit for all sorts of electronic junk: from print cartridges and cell phones up to laptop computers. Bring your e-junk and deposit it into the box in the Percival House office.
