For example, the <a href=\"https:\/\/fareharbor.com\/embeds\/book\/wwfry\/items\/304316\/?full-items=yes&amp;flow=420374\">Sheepscot Valley Steam Train<\/a> route covers the entire 3.5 line to <em>Trout Brook<\/em> station. During events held in conjunction with SeaLyon Farm, trains run 2.6 miles to <em>Top of Mountain <\/em>where wagons meet the train to bring passengers to the farm. Events held at <em>Alna Center<\/em> station (such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/fareharbor.com\/embeds\/book\/wwfry\/items\/312206\/?full-items=yes&amp;flow=420374\">Ice Cream Express<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fareharbor.com\/embeds\/book\/wwfry\/items\/320918\/?full-items=yes&amp;flow=420374\">Music on the Railway Concerts<\/a>) include a 1.5 mile trip on the train.\u00a0 In all cases, trains return back to <em>Sheepscot<\/em>.\u00a0 Check the details for each train\/event for the duration, but most trips last about one to three hours.<\/p>\n<h6><em>When are you open?<\/em><\/h6>\n<p>We are open on Saturdays (year round) but not always running public trains. For specific information, please see <a title=\"Hours &amp; Schedule\" href=\"http:\/\/wwfry.org\/?page_id=8\">Hours, Schedules, and Events<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h6><em><strong>How much does it cost to visit?<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n<p>Admission to the museum, <a href=\"http:\/\/giftshop.wwfry.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gift shop<\/a>, railyard, etc. is free; reasonably-priced train tickets depend on the event, age, etc.\u00a0 Please see <a title=\"Hours &amp; Schedule\" href=\"http:\/\/wwfry.org\/tickets\">Tickets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h6><em><strong>Where is your station in Wiscasset, Waterville or Farmington?<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n<p>We do not (currently) have a station in those locations.\u00a0 The name comes from the <a href=\"http:\/\/wwfry.org\/?page_id=51\">original railroad<\/a> which intended to connect Wiscasset to Farmington (via Waterville), but never did.\u00a0 Today,<strong> all trains depart from 97 Cross Road, Alna, Maine<\/strong>. Please see our <a title=\"Directions\" href=\"http:\/\/wwfry.org\/?page_id=14\">Directions<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<h6><em><strong>Is your railroad the one that goes to Brunswick and Rockland?<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n<p>No, that&#8217;s the standard gauge former Maine Central Rockland Branch, and was\u00a0operated by the\u00a0Maine Eastern Railroad.
