It’s hard to believe, but after many, many months of planning and anticipation, the 36th National Narrow Gauge Convention has come and gone! Based on all reports we heard from both the public and our Museum volunteers who presented clinics, staffed our Museum table, hosted the WW&F bus tour or were otherwise directly involved with convention activities at Augusta, the convention was a great success. Congratulations to the convention organizers for planning and executing this well-run event!<\/p>\n
It was a pleasure meeting old and new friends the past nine days. It certainly was a hectic week, but a very enjoyable one as well.
