{"id":1247,"date":"2016-10-01T20:54:14","date_gmt":"2016-10-02T00:54:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wwfry.org\/?p=1247"},"modified":"2016-10-01T20:54:14","modified_gmt":"2016-10-02T00:54:14","slug":"join-us-for-fall-work-weekend-october-7th-through-10th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.wwfry.org\/?p=1247","title":{"rendered":"Join us for Fall Work Weekend October 7th through 10th!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each year since 1997, volunteers from around the country and overseas travel to the Museum in late April and over the Columbus Day weekend to help work on numerous projects at the Museum. \u00a0This fall, we have the following projects planned:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Shingle Mill spur construction at Top of the Mountain<br \/>\n\u2022 Woods track construction at Sheepscot<br \/>\n\u2022 Main Line track maintenance<br \/>\n\u2022 Telephone work<br \/>\n\u2022 Sheepscot Turntable track lead construction<br \/>\n\u2022 and several other projects as well!<\/p>\n<p>Steam-powered passenger trains will be operating on Saturday and Sunday.
