With the summer weather expected this coming weekend, it\u2019s time for ice cream!<\/p>\n

Ride the Sheescpot Valley Narrow Gauge to our Ice Cream Social at Alna Center station this Saturday, July 6th. Take the 12 noon, 12:25, 1:30, 1:55 or 3 p.m. train from Sheepscot (97 Cross Road, Alna) to get there!<\/p>\n

Our Ice Cream Socials feature awesome locally-made Ice Cream from Round Top Ice Cream in Damariscotta and sundae toppings along with a farm stand selling locally-grown produce, old-fashioned games and fun.<\/p>\n

While visiting the railway, feel free to bring a picnic, or take a walk on our hiking trails. Your ticket is good for all trains, so feel free to ride on any combination of trains to complete your journey. Visit with us for as long or as short as you want!<\/p>\n

Cost includes your train ticket and ice cream: $10 Adults; $9 Seniors, Members, and Military; $5 Children age 4-12; 3 & under free. Tickets are available at Sheepscot station the day of the Social.<\/p>\n

In the event of rain, trains will still run at scheduled times, however the ice cream social will be rescheduled to the next day (Sunday, July 7th) at the same time.<\/p>\n

Our August Ice Cream Social will be Saturday, August 31st.<\/p>\n
