\"\"<\/a>Our Museum tables were quite busy during the 2019 show!<\/em><\/p>\n

Come visit our Museum tables at the upcoming Railroad Hobby Show<\/a> January 25th and 26th.\u00a0 The show, sponsored by the Amherst Railway Society<\/a>, is held at the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds<\/a> in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Please see railroadhobbyshow.com<\/a> for more information about the show.<\/p>\n

This event is one of the largest railroad hobby shows in the United States. \u00a0Proceeds from the show are used by the Amherst Railway Society<\/a> to promote interest in railroads, including donations to rail museums, historical societies, restoration projects and scholarship funds.\u00a0 Over the years, the ARS has generously donated to restoration efforts by our Museum.<\/p>\n

Our sales table will be in the Young Building, section 78, near the \u201cHeroes and Legends\u201d cafe\u2014in the area popularly known as \u201cnarrow gauge corner.\u201d \u00a0Many items available in our gift shop will be available at the show!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Maine Narrow Gauge\u2019s Monson No. 3 at Alna Center during our 2019 Annual Picnic last August.\u00a0 Stewart Rhine photo.<\/em><\/p>\n

A highlight of this year’s show will be Maine Narrow Gauge’s<\/a> Monson No. 3 operating outside on 100 feet of track.\u00a0 Monson No. 3 spent this past season on the WW&F in Sheepscot and operated during several of our special events in 2019.\u00a0 The appearance of No. 3 at the show is the result of the combined efforts of MNG, Maine Locomotive & Machine<\/a>, and the WW&F.<\/p>\n
