During your layover at SeaLyon Farm you can\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ride the tractor drawn wagon from the station to the farm.<\/li>\n<li>Hunt for Easter eggs! (on 3 fields, divided by age birth-3, 4-6, and 7+.)\u00a0<em>Please bring your own basket for the hunt!<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Shop for farm goods at the SeaLyon Farm stand (with jam, salsa, lavender products and baked goods.)<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy a kielbasa, sausage, burger, pulled pork, or other delicacy from Grandpa&#8217;s Kitchen onsite grill.<\/li>\n<li>Play games (Tic tac toe tables, table Checkers, and Cornhole.)<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy a pony ride.<\/li>\n<li>Visit the chickens and goats.<\/li>\n<li>Take a short hike around the farm or relax by the bonfire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ticket price includes a historic steam train ride to and from\u00a0<em>Top of Mountain<\/em>, tractor-wagon rides from Top of Mountain to SeaLyon Farm and return, an age-appropriate egg hunt, and parking at\u00a0<em>Sheepscot<\/em>.\u00a0<strong><em>Please bring your own baskets for the egg hunt.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Refreshments, pony rides, and farm products are sold separately by SeaLyon Farm and their partners. Note that due to the nature of this event, wheelchairs can not be safely accommodated.<\/p>\n<p>For their safety, and the safety of the farm animals, pets can not be accommodated during this special event.<\/p>\n<p>Trains depart\u00a0<em>Sheepscot<\/em>\u00a0station (97 Cross Road, Alna) promptly at 10:00a, 11:45a, 1:30p, and will return to\u00a0<em>Sheepscot<\/em>\u00a0at 12:40p, 2:25p, and 4:10p, respectively. Your group (of up to 15 people) gets exclusive access to the &#8220;little red caboose&#8221; on the WW&amp;F railway during the trip to and from the egg hunt and other farmstand activities at Alna Center station.<\/p>\n<p>And yes, you can ride &#8220;up top&#8221; in the cupola (although adults will need to watch their heads!)<\/p>\n<p>Cost is $250 (which includes the egg hunt for all children in your group and your party being seated completely separately from other passengers during the train ride.)<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: Caboose Adventurers must return on their scheduled departure from\u00a0<em>Top of Mountain<\/em>\u00a0station and can not enjoy an extended layover at the farm. (Otherwise the caboose will be forfeited and your group seated with the other passengers.)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>About SeaLyon Farm<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sealyonfarm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SeaLyon Farm<\/a>\u00a0is situated is beautifully situated amongst the rolling woods and fields of Alna just south of Head Tide and adjacent to the WW&amp;F&#8217;s Top of Mountain Station. The WW&amp;F Railway partners with SeaLyon Farm throughout the year on a variety of excursions including Steam &amp; Sleighs, Lavender Pickin&#8217; Dinnertime Trains, Pumpkin Pickin&#8217; Trains, and Christmastime Trains.<\/p>\n<h2>About Grandpa&#8217;s Kitchen<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/grandpassmokedmeats.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grandpa&#8217;s Specialty Smoked Meats<\/a>\u00a0are done the old fashioned way. Some products are handcrafted over 3 weeks from start to finish &#8211; including their famous hand-stuffed sausages. Meats are smoked anywhere from 2-14 hours. Grandpa&#8217;s meats are shipped all over the world from their facility in Belfast, Maine.<\/p>\n<p>While menu items for this event are subject to change, choices typically include smoked chicken, steak dogs, and homemade stuffed sausages. And bacon; real bacon. Vegetarian options should be requested in advance.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>About the Weather and Cancellations<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Eastertime Eggspress to SeaLyon Farm<\/em>\u00a0will run rain or shine (please dress accordingly.)
